WATCH: John Lloyd Cruz Directs Music Video Featuring His Travels

Another John Lloyd Cruz comeback!

After over two years of being off-cam, fans have been pining for John Lloyd Cruz's return in the limelight. That's why a recent commercial starring the actor made a lot of buzz a few months ago.

This time, JLC appears once again onscreen in a music video that he directed. This is for the dream pop-act Sugar Hiccup's music video for their song Saturnine Nevermore which features the actor's travels from September to December 2017.

Watch the music video below:

Having their band name taken from the song of dream pop pioneers the Cocteau Twins, Sugar Hiccup also features angelic, high-pitched female vocals for their music accompanied by guitars. The band had been around since 1994, with members:  Melody del Mundo (vocals, lead guitars), Czandro Pollack (rhythm guitars), Russel Dacasin (bass), and Mervin Panganiban (drums). Their first album, Oracle, sold over 20,000 copies and won the Best Alternative Recording trophy at the Awit Awards in 1996.  Their single Five Years also won the Best Alternative Song and Best Alternative Performance by the songwriters' organization KATHA. Sugar Hiccup's single Saturnine Nevermore was released in 2018.
