Following the cue of international artists who are doing mini-concerts as a way to pass time during the lockdown period, OPM artists have also announced their plans of doing free concerts to raise funds for those who are affected the most by the enhanced community quarantine.
The project, which is called Bayanihan, Musikahan, was introduced last night by composer and National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab via Facebook Live, where he performed songs like "Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka", "Araw-Gabi", and more.
Cayabyab announced that for the next two weeks, major Filipino artists will be performing from their homes in different parts of the Philippines and of the world. The project, which kicks off on Monday, March 23, aims to call for donations and raise funds which will then be used to buy the important items and necessities that those who are in need are unable to.
Some of the artists who will be participating in these Facebook Live concerts include Lea Salonga, Ebe Dancel, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sitti Navarro, Yael and Karylle Yuzon, Chito Miranda, Agot Isidro, Christian Bautista, Jet Pangan, Gab Pangilinan, Martin Nieverra. Jim Paredes, and many more.
Ebe Dancel announced this morning that he will be doing his Bayanihan, Musikahan Facebook Live tonight at 9:30PM. Check out the details below:
