CHVRCHES and Stars were among the acts at the ASEANA City Open Grounds last Saturday. Check out exclusive photos from the newest festival in Manila!

GoodVybes Fest is the newest alternative music festival which was held last Saturday featuring a total of 16 acts. The headliners were Passion Pit, CHVRCHES, up-and-coming duo Oh Wonder and Stars.

It was a dusty affair but no one seemed to care at all. The lineup was well thought of, with not only having the popular international bands perform but with a number of acts from the indie scene in Manila as well.

Here are exclusive photos from the newest festival in Manila:

Canadian-based indie rockband, Stars, started their set with From The Night and sang a number of old favorites like Elevator Love Letter, Midnight Coward and the ultra-popular melancholic tune, Your Ex-Lover Is Dead.

The pop duo, Oh Wonder, hailing from London performed with huge letter lights that spelled out the initials of their name. "We've been going around the world in the past three months and this is the biggest crowd we've played on," Anthony West says as they still can't believe they're in the Philippines.

"We've played a lot of shows and most of the time, most people aren't this excited."

The Scottish electronic band who have already visited Manila in 2014 sang their new songs like Leave a Trace and Bury It to classic favorites like Gun and The Mother We Share. Lauren Mayberry performed with so much energy as she sang from one end of the stage to the other.

The festival ended with a performance everyone has been waiting for since last year — Passion Pit.

The indie-electronica band opened with a very lively Little Secrets which made the audience shriek from excitement. They also performed songs off their latest album, Kindred, like Lifted Up (1985), Where The Sky Hangs and more.

The band sang a total of 15 tracks including Constant Conversations and their much-loved songs like Carried Away, To Kingdom Come, All I Want and closed the show with Sleepyhead.
