The sets are excellent. The momentum isn't that consistent but it pulls through.
Maganda ang kwento ngumit nagkulang sa technical aspects like make up, sounds, visual effects, etc.
What a refreshing take of a genre made technically superior and gives a witty twilight zone feel.
The film is worth watching. It's visually and technically engaging, competent ensemble cast (kudos to TJ Trinidad), simple yet solid plot supported by versatile editing. It's not perfect, but the movie is a breath of fresh air (from all the crap films shown during the MMFF through the years which we are all forced to watch). The film has a lot of potential as it attempts to balance quality filmmaking and box-office appeal (being an entry for MMFF), which we all know is a tough act to do by filmmakers if they want to target the "lucrative market" of Christmas MMFF moviegoers (the crappier the movie, the more ticket sales it will generate). Hoping that the people behind this film (same people responsible for English Only Please and # WalangForever) continue bringing to local audience quality and commercially palatable movies not only during Christmas time but for the whole year as well.
It was not bad like other horror movies that was released from previous festivals.. story was good and scare factor was okay.
The whole movie was a series of vignettes that tried to tie together with one another. I will not consider the flick a horror movie as it was not terrifying & the plot was so convoluted, I hardly understood what it wanted to convey to the audience.
