It should be called "Trashformers 4: Age of Stinktion."
So many unneccesary action sequences to the point that I got bored. Lots of plotholes and "whaaaat" moments. Too many awkward attempts at human connection. The movie took too long to resolve their issues. Though the graphics were great, it was just too much for an action movie. Too much! Very disappointing!
Nonsensical plot, uncharismatic human characters, deranged Transformers -- it's like Mr. Bay is out to prove that even his excretions will earn him billions (like his previous 3). Save yourself the heartbreak and confusion and spend your money elsewhere... unless you have kids that is.
previous installments are bad enough but this is the worst. 1 star is too much... it deserves zero star
This movie is such a disappointment..I used to enjoy the transformers franchise but this one I think came into existence just so it can be a formidable cash cow for the studio..Poor screenplay..Uninspired film direction..Redeemed only by its special effects.
I was exhausted after watching the movie! A long 2.5 hrs! I found myself covering my ears at one point, as I was getting dizzy and nauseaous with the overloaded CGI effects, noise and non-stop action one after the other. There is what you call 'balance'. This one went overboard, including cliche's and product placements!
Best movie on the series!
If you have followed the movie since it's first release, you'll understand the Age of Extinction. It's about the government eradicating the existence of the Bots but the thing is that the the division holding it has something not on the book, and that is working with Lock Down, a non Autobots or Decepticon that I think is working for Unicron. Overall the movie is great, effects are better, acting is better, plot is more mind twisting. Definitely watch it, worth your hundreds. :)
