As a long time starwars fan, this feels more like a direct sequel to the force awakens, and seems to not make me feel or care much to the characters because this was the only time all three are all together. It felt so rushed because the last jedi was so bad, this movie spent so much time trying to fix the damage from the last jedi. Hence the pacing was crammed and convoluted. General Leia dialogue feels off, and recycled Rey and Leia hug scene from the force awakens. Palpatine exploded on the return of the Jedi, and the second death star was destroyed, somehow huge chunks of them are intact. How he survived? Him alive negates the original trilogy Anakins story arc, and fulfillment of the prophecy. The worst part of the Expanded Universe was used. How did they built the massive Sith fleet? And again, over exhaustion via light side force use can kill you. Rey is a Palpatine, the title is mislabelled, because she has no blood relations to the Skywalker. Where I felt the ending of Revenge of the Sith, and The return of the Jedi. The end or Rise of Skywalker seems to have no emotional impact on me, I didn't feel anything.
