Finally had the chance to catch "Just A Stranger" before it gets pulled out from the theaters to give way to the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino entries this week. This movie tackling May-December cheating partners is a beautiful disaster. The color palette and shots in Lisbon is probably Laxamana's best cinematography while the characters could've been fleshed out more to give depth and impact on the subplots, sayang sila Edu and Cherie. Medyo hilaw pa si Gumabao, in fairness umaakting din yung muscles nya sa dami nang eksenang nakahubad. Hahah! Anne had 3 breakdown scenes here, not her best, but the most memorable one was at the ending. I enjoyed that monologue as it was something really unpredictable.
