Kuwaresma is nothing special. I even find Eerie (by Mikhail Red) better and even way below compared to Aurora (by Yam Laranas). This film has no concrete story direction (too vague for the general public I guess). It's ridiculous that the ghost Manuela antagonizes her twin sibling here when the real perpetrators of her death are her parents. It was hard for me to relate to any of the characters. I find them flat--two dimensional characters. John Arcilla as Arturo is very good though. Story is "MEH". Word of mouth is mainly negative and I still watched it. Bah! Wasted my money. Wait for this in Netflix instead.
