I loved Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa but I felt that some scenes were rushed and the whole film is “fast-forwardable” in a sense(if there’s a term like that HAHAHAHA) and the ending kept us skeptical on what would happen next with Sam and Isa’s characters but after 4 years, with the release of TAYO Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, the wait is finally over and everything was worth the wait. Perfectly delivered lines, tagos sa puso or realistic dialogues and the OST would get into your nerves and afterwards anticipate it on Spotify. I need a prequel or another chapter on the denouement because hindi ready yung puso namin sa ending na yun. From start to finish, expect non-stop na iyakan and it never felt like a film to me. It is upon the credits that made me realised that its a film kasi it’s very realistic and it feels like you are just talking to a good old friend stucked in the same situation as that of Sam, Isa, Anna and Pangkoy’s. Camera shots were exemplary and is a joy to see most especially when Vera entered the Solidaridad store.. Vera and Nicco Manalo’s chemistry is undeniable; Alex Medina is always A+ with his acting but it is Anna Luna who really stood out in the film, there’s something with Anna’s charisma and innocence that you will love. It’s the best movie up to date and prolly the best movie of 2019 so far. Hindi ito budol, it is worth your time and tears..
