*Disclaimer: I'm no movie expert, neither or an avid comic fan, I'm just an ordinary viewer and my opinions may be on the contrary to yours. After all, we've our own unique way to interpret what we've watch. Plus you should watch this movie without any high expectations to it. Just watch "Ant-Man and The Wasp" as it is and will still have a great fun.* First of all: I loved "Ant-man" (the 1st movie) because I felt, that movie was an experiment for "Dr. Strange". Specially for it's amazing visual effects. Plus the cast alone, like I didn't expect, Paul Rudd had in him the "super-hero" vibe/quality and bringing his natural quirky side in the film (and of course Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lily etc.. as well) Truly an amazing movie and cast's indeed. Although, it isn't necessary to watch "Ant-man and The Wasp" for you to have fun watching this sequel. However, you might feel that, you "might-ish?" want to watch the prequel in order for you to understand the relationship of Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily and Michael Douglas plus other actors in the film as well (or at least that's how I felt it, filling myself in the shoes of those who haven't watch "Ant-man" yet). WIth that said I will give my fun 4.4/5 star rating to "Ant-man and The Wasp" and I'm going to explain based on the categories that I've chosen. Amazing Visual Effects: They outdid the 1st movie for the visual effects and they really go beyond an extra mile for the efforts of reliving the realm of Ant-man. So you may want to watch this in Dolby, 3D or IMAX for that matter. Great Fight Scene: You know that you enjoy a fight scene if they got you engaged on it. Plus, with the combination of it's visual effects really hit the spot. (To be honest, guilty as charged, they got me hooked in when the fight scene occurred, and by enjoying the action scene, you must have to include its' story Heart-warming: There are a lot of scenes where in you'll really feel the connection of Paul Rudd's character, It really captivated my emotions in to it and I'll let you find out, what those scenes are, once you've watched this prequel. ^_^ Personal Remarks: "Ant-man and the Wasp" I like the movie. But, in my personal opinion, it didn't felt, that it surpassed the prequel, other than its' visual effects and fight scenes. They should've invested/added more story about his nemesis, like they did on the prequel (where in I was truly invested in Yellow Jacket's "bad-ass-ness" ). Although, it's cool to see what they've done to Ant-Man's new nemesis and the way they introduced him/her. Plus, those other cool nugget scenes that they've included >wink< .^_<. *Bonus Remark: But if you've watched the prequel, it's really a perfect balance to it's sequel combined. So you'll still be having a wonderful watching "Ant-man and The Wasp" Plus, there are fun easter eggs that they've included in the movie as well. Lastly, I hope you have a great fun watching this movie and it's really a R-PG movie. So, parent's do guide your kid/children. ^_^ (Please don't misunderstood my statement of R-PG from S-PG)
