J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay

John D. Payne (b. 1979 or 1980 ) and Patrick McKay (b. 1980 or 1981 ) are an American screenwriting duo. They are best known for developing the Amazon Prime Video fantasy drama series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, based on the history of Middle-earth by English author J. R. R. Tolkien.
