Ruby Barnhill

Ruby Barnhill (born July 2004) is an English actress, known for playing the lead role of Sophie in Steven Spielberg's 2016 film The BFG. Early life Barnhill was born in Knutsford, Cheshire, England. She lives with her parents and younger sister in Cheshire, and is a member of the local youth theatre. Her father is British actor Paul Barnhill.
