Marcel Ruiz Pérez (born July 9, 2003) is a Puerto Rican actor, known for playing Alex Alvarez in Netflix's One Day at a Time series.

Career

Marcel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He began his career acting in commercials since early age. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of nine. He appears in Netflix's reboot of One Day at a Time as the character Alex.
