I'd just like to quote this great review from Rappler -- "The film is so meticulously threadbare, it feels like its central love story belongs not in the realms of commercial entertainment but in the real world." Nuff said!
Its always a good sign when non-fans and casual viewers appreciate the film, which means the material is really good. Even acclaimed film critics agree as well. It's just a bonus that the two lead stars were able to deliver well. There are also a lot of lessons that Millennials should watch for.
Poor plot and script-writing. The only thing I liked about it was Nadine's acting.
Ah, young reckless love and its tragedies. Insightful. Relevant.
Good art aint cheap, as Gio puts it. Those who don't appreciate the film are -- either blind followers and bashers of other loveteams, or those who can't distinguish art from what is not. :)) sorry not sorry.
One of the most boring movie i have ever seen.
Definitely the best JaDine movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a fan of love teams in the Philippines, but the main stars in this film really did well actually. I don't think any other love team can do what they did (given limitations in their image and studio contracts), or any other character actor or actress for that matter. So that's why they're also called "Team Real."
This is not your typical love story / not your formula rom-com. The story is unconventional, and the lead stars both nailed it.
This is a masterpiece
