A must watch for the whole family and for all Filipinos. Your children will learn from this.

It's the best Filipino film I have ever watched. It's well written and researched. It has very good cinematography and smooth transition of every scene. The actors are all superb! And I love that the director was able to inject humor in such serious film. This film totally hooked me from start to finish.

i rarely watch tagalog movies but this one definitely worth watching, heck i'd watch it again just to keep this in cinemas. a movie this good deserves appreciation; i have been recommending it to all my friends. The story, the cinematography, the actors as well as the writers and everyone behind this movie really did a good job. Nakakaproud! After the movie I was at the brink of crying, it stirred a lot of emotions. Wow as in Wow!

Great Actors/tress, Cinematoghraphy was great, accuracy was ok! That ending though, it was a tiny bit over the top.

Get to know about our history and learn about Heneral Luna in the Filipino-American War. His unwaivering Patriotism and Loyalty to our Country is unrivaled. Master tactician and disciplinarian among the Generals of his time, he is regarded as the best General of then President Aguinaldo in the battle for sovereignty.

Watching this film gives you hope na may pag-asa talaga ang mainstream local movie industry (apart from your "gasgas na gasgas" na love story format about love triangle, mistresses, etc etc); quality film muna bago ang kikitain sa takilya!

Introspectively stirring. Makes me very very very mad with Politicians who are corrupt and selfish!

Definitely an eye opener to what actually happened in the history of the Philippines (those not discussed in History classes).
