If you liked the movie General Luna, Then you'll like this cause This is the continuation of it.

This is ofcourse to stay away from The Cheesy, boring, and un-modern disguisting Mainstream Filipino Movies.

We Need more of this Modern style type of Movies, and NOT the constant Dumb Local Romance Movies they keep shoving in cinemas.

Great Job Jarold Tarrog, We need more like you doing great Filipino Movies.

    5 for Philippines history
    3 for Gregorio del Pilar

    - Si Goyo ang nagpasimula ng "Landi Is Life".

Now we are given this wonderful artfilm about our history that demonstrate our capacity to do a really great film. Goyo wont disappoint.

It is slow-phased but charming. The narrative is thought-provoking and the cinematography is epic. The production itself is enough reason to spend your P280 something for a ticket. The film will take you to different places and in the middle of an immersive Tirad Pass battle.

Director Jerold Tarog did it again.

Go feed your mind and treat yourself with a quality Filipino film this weekend.

    Pangit pala story ni Goyo...

There's something charming with this film, I don't know if it's a 100% historically accurate (Which is for me it really doesn't matter, because my stand on historical events, doesn't really evolve around who's right or wrong, it only surfaces what the powerful ones wants the masses to see, Opinions mostly surfaces)

Ok the reason why It's charming is mainly because of the lines said by the actors, The script writers are absolutely plausible for their work on this film. Hands down to them. I don't know if the punch lines are modernized or well thought of for the Millenials to quite relate on it, despite of it being a "Historical film", but It's really good, a great touch.

For the actors, It's good, especially the supporting cast was SUPERB, veteran actors are awesome, And I think Paulo Avelino showed how his acting skills have evolved through his time in the entertainment industry,

Probably the downfall was the most CLIMAXING part which is Goyong's death isn't really surprising, or It's too abrupt, but the foreshadows were pretty decent as well, I just wish there's more elements involved around it. And some of the fighting scenes are pretty awkward

Camera job was really good on this one, I can add this to one of my favorite local films who had an awesome Cinematography. (It's just that some of the fighting scenes are pretty off)
