"Good art ain't cheap.", as to what Gio had said but it felt like the ending was rushed and had no twists and turns. At first, I thought that it had a twist in the end. Same formula. Dull and boring at some point. But on a positive note, both Reid and Lustre gave their all for this film. Nice camera shots. Genuine emotion and feels.
But it's worth a watch for those who think that JaDine would only stick on one craft in a romantic film and that the typical ideology and norms of a Filipino romantic flick was broken with this film.
At the end of the day, even though all of their films had disappointed me, I would still be a fan of their love team. JaDine would never be the same without James and without Nadine and that this film had really exemplified and showed how they are called "Team Real."

NNLY tackles on how to balance work and relationship. I guess it’s a matter of maturity. Both need to accept and just be there to support each other no matter what. That’s choosing career AND love as well. It’s the only way you could be happy.

I love how it's an ode to the working class living in the business district. Beautifully quiet. Heart-wrenching without hysterics and histrionics. Nadine Lustre deserves a Best Actress award for this movie. Very nuanced performance from Nadine. Her face in the last scene reminded me of Jaclyn Jose in Ma Rosa.

Best JaDine and Tonet Jadaone’s film to date. I liked how the execution was done, it’s very realistic that I felt I was there with the characters. I commend the actors Nadine Lustre & James Reid, very raw and heartfelt acting especially Nadine I was impressed on how she carried multiple emotions in just one scene using her eyes only. Jadaone’s screenplay & directing is excellent, I hope she’ll do more matured films like this. Cinematography is perfect as well and soundtrack Prom very apt.

The confrontation scene in the trailer may bring people to the theaters but it is in the quiet moments that this movie really shines. Superb acting by both Nadine and James! Their electric chemistry radiates through the screen and their eyes can move you to tears. The story gets even richer upon rewatch and my friends and I enjoyed discussing the symbolisms and parallelisms we found. Everyone should watch this film.
