It’s about feminism and the opressed. It’s an entertaining way of presenting those ideas in a very commercial way. The visuals are bombastic!!

Ryan Coogler does it again! watch out Hollywood. A new brilliant breed of director has finally arrived!

Overhyped. Story was very ordinary for me.

The film boasts a strong awareness and firm timeliness regarding socio-political issues with the black minorities of America (and people of African descent in general), superb performances from an incredibly talented cast (with Coogler film-alum Michael B. Jordan and breakout star Letitia Wright stealing the show), a simple story albeit one that is complete and well-rounded, notable cinematography, beautiful African-influenced production and costume design, and a creative musical score where said African influence breathes into the movie. Black Panther definitely stands out, not just as a Marvel film, but as a standalone that recognizes its own relevance and the weighty political climate it addresses. Nothing but love for this one.

lots of actions were contrasted with the lack of dept in the story (they made it up with lots of CGI effects). the casts deliberately making their accents sound awful.
