This film deserves more recognition than it has received so far. It literally blew my mind away! All actors are great (LJ Reyes is hands-dowm spectacular and effortless in a very demanding and emotionally challenging role); directing, script, editing, and production are all excellent and well-thought. Still amazed and awed by the fact that we can produce such high quality films, in an age of commercialism and shallowness in the local movie industry.
The writing was phenomenal! I'd say it's the strongest aspect of the film. The cast was great led by Lj Reyes. The editing style was similar to Birdman, (one long tracking shot) so the handheld camera just moves around the claustrophobic setting following the actors as they spew words of deception and lies. The only problem I can think of is the filmmaker's decision to use muted colors which made it look boring and indistinguishable. But that's only my preference. The script still managed to compel me in the end and that's good enough. Please support our local films! Thank you!
