The story of Maricar whose world revolves around her son, Mateo, who she raised singlehandedly. When Mateo is moving to Singapore to pursue his career ambition and his girlfriend, he devised a plan to find a good man who can look after her mother while he is gone. At first, this made Maricar furious but eventually she saw the pure intention of her son.

Masterful direction based on a realistic & relatable screenplay. Kudos to Naval and Del Rosario for a film that brings realism in its most palpable form. The beautiful chemistry of the 2 main characters breathes life to the material. Sharon and Alden may have been mom and son in their past life.

Watched FOT last Dec 25 at Ayala Center Cebu first Screening. A tale of a relationship of Mama Maricar & 28 year old son Matty. Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards have great chemistry as mother and Son. The story is simple, with comedic moments and heartwarming moments. Perfect to watch with family

A must watch movie for the whole family. Makikitawa at iiyak ka sa bawat eksena. The inidoro scene, Ang sakit -sakit sa damdamin. Kung Isa Kang Ina ramdam mo Ng sobra Ang eksenang ito. After watching marealize mo Ang worth Ng nanay mo at yayakapin mo Siya.
