Well paced, great cast chemistry, good beginning for a 5 picture movie franchise from JK Rowling as a prequel to the Harry Potter series. Now set in post WW I era in the United States, here we find Newt Scamander, played effectively by Eddie Redmayne, and his (mis)adventures in New York. This is pre-Voldemort era, so you'll find a different antagonist here, although the evil isn't as clear cut as you'd expect. Decent start to the Scamander / Fantastic Beasts movie franchise, and you'll be entertained, not as thoroughly filled with perhaps a little thing missing in the middle. Otherwise, a great depiction by the director and a likewise well acted movie.
I enjoyed most of the magical parts. Though the story is a bit lengthy, still each scene helps the audience to undertand the totality of the film. Different emotions and feelings are presented which make the film entertaining.
