Watched OTLUM last night out of curiosity. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. In fact, dahil madyadong negative ang review sa movie, it exceeded our expectations haha. Daming scary scenes and gulat factor pero yea need pa konting polish. Jerome Ponce's acting skill is highly commendable, though. 4 Stars.
JUSME! The only millenial in this movie is its title. Ang luma ng konsepto. Wala man lang social media involvement.
Josh ko day!
Hindi ko alam. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit pinasok ito ng selection committee ng MMFF sa walo over a Brillante Mendoza film or a Mark Meily film. Kasi horror? Wala namang nakakatakot dun sa pinakita nila.
Matutuwa pa ko kung nagfocus sila sa istorya ng pangmomolestiya ng pare or do something like Erik Matti’s Resureksyon. Ang panget ng Otlum. Period. Sayang sa oras. Josh ko day!
I was expecting a really good horror movie this metro manila film festival. I was so disappointed by the scare factors, not once did I flinch during the movie. Actors feel like they’ve returned to beginner level of acting. Overall a 1 star, 10/10 would prefer old shake rattle & roll movies.
