Turning Red is the newest animated film from Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios! While the film is not coming to our cinemas until spring next year, Disney is getting us excited for this upcoming new title by releasing the teaser for it, giving us a glimpse of Mei Lee and her giant red panda version!

Turning Red is an animated coming-of-age film about Mei Lee, a dorky 13-year-old girl who is torn between going through the chaos of being an adolescent and staying as her mother’s dutiful daughter. What makes her unique is the fact that she “poofs” into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited (which is ALWAYS).
The movie comes from Domee Shi, who directed and won an Oscar for her 2018 short film Bao. It features the voices of Rosalie Chiang as Mei Lee and Sandra Oh as her protective mother.
Turning Red is set for release on March 11, 2022.
