Fans of Nicolas Cage and the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game franchise will have a new film to look forward to this year!
The first trailer for the upcoming horror film Willy’s Wonderland has been released and it pits Nic Cage against possessed animatronic mascots, just like in the video games. But instead of being a helpless prey, Cage’s character seems more than capable when facing these monsters alone. Watch the trailer below:
In this film, Cage plays a quiet loner who got stranded in a remote town after his car broke down. To pay for its repairs, he spends the night cleaning the abandoned Willy’s Wonderland. Soon he will discover the neglected family fun center’s dark secret– its animatronic mascots are alive and thirsty for blood!
Directed by Kevin Lewis, this film also stars Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, and Ric Reitz. It is set for a US release in theaters, digital, and on-demand this February 12.
