Japanese animated high fantasy film Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms is in cinemas starting today!

The film centers on Maquia, a girl from a family of ageless beings, who – after being separated from her clan – discovers orphaned human Ariel while she explores the mortal world. She raises him as her own child, but their relationships change over time as Ariel grows up, but Maquia doesn't.
Written and directed by Mari Okada, the film features the voices of Manaka Iwami, Miyu Irino, Ai Kayano, YÅ«ki Kaji, Miyuki Sawashiro, and more.
