A new suspense film produced by Michael Bay features a future where the pandemic has become too serious for the US to handle.
Songbird follows a couple divided by the disease, at a time when the government has resorted to brute military force to suppress the spread of the still mutating COVID-23 in the film.

Songbird is the first feature film to be made during COVID-19 in Los Angeles, and is about the pandemic itself.
Four years into the lockdown, America has turned into a dystopia where infected citizens are violently forced into quarantine camps. Nico (KJ Apa) is a courier immune to the virus while his beloved Sara (Sofia Carson) stays home. Due to the lockdown, the two are prohibited from seeing each other.
When Sara is believed to be infected, Nico races against time to save her from her captors, or something worse.
Directed by Adam Mason, this film also stars Craig Robinson, Bradley Whitford, Peter Stormare, and more. The release date is yet to be announced.
