Director Guillermo del Toro is back, incorporating his distinct filmography to the new movie adaptation of the cult classic book trilogy from the 1980's, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
The Shape of Water, Pan's Labyrinth, and the two Hellboy films from 2004 and 2008, are but some of the many films that the director had given life to with his dark fantasy masterstrokes in film making. This is why every Del Toro fan is excited with the upcoming horror anthology film.

The film is based on the book trilogy of Alvin Schwartz with the same name. These books became the most banned or challenged of the decades that followed, making it more pronounced as a cult classic of its time.
So far, four stories from the book have been confirmed to be part of the film, specifically 'The Big Toe', 'The Red Spot', 'Harold', and 'The Dream', which features the terrifying Pale Lady from the books.
Looking forward to the film? Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is set to premiere on August 9. The film stars Zoe Margaret Colletti, Austin Zajur, Natalie Ganzhorn, Michael Garza, Dean Norris, and more.
