When something strange in the neighborhood gets stranger, we’re probably in 2020, because the sequel to the original Ghostbusters film is finally coming to theaters!
Director Jason Reitman revealed on Twitter a photo on set of the upcoming Ghostbusters 2020 film which reveals that the “The Family’s All Here,” as Reitman said on the caption. In the photo we see Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace, and Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard together with director Jason Reitman and his father, the current film’s producer and the man behind the first film, Ivan Reitman.

As we all know Finn Wolfhard has already donned the mantle of the ghostbusters in the second season of the hit Netflix series; as Mike Wheeler and friends’ Halloween costumes. Although further details are yet to come on what roles the actors in the photo will be playing, is has been earlier revealed that Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor, and Logan Kim are also joining the cast.
Ghostbusters 2020 is the current title to the upcoming sequel to films Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989). The sci-fi comedy franchise revolves around a group of parapsychologists in their various misadventures offering ghost removal services.
