After films like Gravity, Interstellar, and The Martian have taken the movie-goers into outer space through the theaters, it is Brad Pitt's turn to take on the bigger universe just outside our atmosphere in the upcoming film Ad Astra.
In the new trailer that has been released, the film showcases its promising visuals that are perfect for an IMAX viewing. Watch the trailer below:
The film tells the story of Roy McBride, played by Brad Pitt, who travels to the outer edges of the solar system to look for his father who once traversed the mysterious expanse. In his journey, Roy will discover secrets that challenge the purpose of the human existence in the wide cosmos.

Directed by James Gray, who also wrote the script with Ethan Gross, the film stars Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Liv Tyler, Ruth Negga, and more. It is to be released by 20th Century Fox this coming September 20, 2019.
