The South Korean film that broke our hearts a few years back is returning to the big screen in the form of a Filipino adaptation.
Miracle in Cell No. 7 is officially part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2019, with stars Xia Vigor, Bella Padilla, and Aga Muhlach playing the Filipino counterparts of the original film's key characters.
And while behind-the-scene photos had been earlier released, it is just now that we're getting a full look of what viewers can expect with the release of the film's first teaser trailer. Check it out below:
Miracle in Cell No. 7 follows the story of a mentally-ill man (Aga Muhlach) who is wrongfully-imprisoned for sexual assault and murder. In prison, he becomes friends with his fellow inmates and together, they put up a series of plans to reunite him with his little daughter (Xia Vigor).
Directed by Nuel Naval Miracle in Cell No. 7 also stars Joel Torre, Mon Confiado, Jojit Lorenzo, JC Santos, Soliman Cruz, John Arcilla, and Tirso Cruz III. For more information and updates, follow Viva Films on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
