Matthew McConaughey of Interstellar, The Wolf of Wall Street, and other blockbuster movies, is the head of a marijuana empire in Guy Ritchie's latest action comedy film The Gentlemen.

The Gentleman follows the American expat Mickey Pearson, played by McConaughey, who built a marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he is about to resign from his seat, the people around him start to plot and scheme to take over his realm.
Known for movies like The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, and the live-action Aladdin film, Guy Ritchie helms The Gentlemen with an all-star ensemble including McConaughey, Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, Last Christmas), Charlie Hunnam (King Arthur: Legend of The Sword, Triple Frontier), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey, Good Behavior), Jeremy Strong (Succession, The Big Short), Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, Atomic Blonde), Colin Farrell (Miami Vice, Total Recall), and Hugh Grant (Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral). The Gentlemen is set for a US release on January 24, 2020.
