JC Santos and Bela Padilla’s ‘On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets’ Opens This February

This new film also promises to break our hearts!

It was through the 2017 romantic film 100 Tula Para Kay Stella that actors JC Santos and Bela Padilla first proved their on-screen chemistry to audiences. The year after, the two got reunited for the film The Day After Valentine's under the same director, Jason Paul Laxamana.

This year, fans of the JC-Bela team-up are sure to be delighted as the two reunite once again as lead stars in the upcoming film On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets, from director Irene Villamor. But just like the films earlier mentioned, it seems that this new movie will take viewers into another heart-wrenching journey.

"Si Bela. Si JC. Ulit. Oo. Masakit ulit." says the caption of the trailer released by VIVA Films. Check it out below:

The official synopsis for the film has not been released yet, but the trailer already gives us a good understanding of its premise. JC and Bela's characters seemed to have engaged in a one night stand, and the two hints that it may not be their last encounter. With this, and the promise that the film will break our hearts once again, we could only expect that complications would soon follow for the two characters.

Director Irene Villamor is also known for the 2018 films Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story and Meet Me in St. Gallen which also stars Bela Padilla opposite Carlo Aquino. JC and Bela's most recent film together is the Filipino remake of Miracle in Cell No. 7 starring Aga Muhlach. It looks like whenever they work together on a project, it is to make audiences cry.
