The well-loved book series by Eoin Colfer is coming to the big screen this May!
Disney's Artemis Fowl tells the story of Artemis Fowl Jr., a 12-year old genius who comes from a long line of criminal masterminds. With his loyal protector Butler, the kid sets out on a perilous journey to find his missing father, a disappearance he suspects is connected to the underground world of fairies.

As seen in the trailer, viewers are sure to expect a mix between myths, magic, and sci-fi weaponry! Artemis is also joined by Mulch Diggums, "just a talented giant dwarf" and Holly Short, an officer of the Lower Elements Police— the law enforcers of the "other side."
The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Josh McGuire, Nikesh Patel, Adrian Scarborough, Miranda Raison, Colin Farrell, and Judi Dench. It is set for a local release on May 27, 2020.
