Fallen

Directed by Scott Hicks, based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Kate, it is about a young girl who finds herself in a reform school after she was blamed for the death of a young boy. When she reaches school, she is drawn to a fellow student, unaware that he is an anger and has loved her for thousands of years. It stars Addison Timlin, Jeremy Irvine, Harrison Gilbertson, and Joely Richardson.


 

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk

A war drama film directed by Ang Lee, based on the novel of the same name by Ben Fountain, the film is about a 19-year-old Billy Lynn who is brought home for a victory tour after an Iraq battle. Through flashbacks, the film shows what really happened to his squad — contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions. The film stars Joe Alwyn, Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, Vin Diesel, Steve Martin and Chris Tucker.
