After the release of their prequel film Orphan: First Kill in theaters, Paramount just dropped the trailer for their new horror film Margaux.
The new movie puts a horror spin on technology, specifically smart homes and the AI assistant it comes with. After getting to stay at a very advanced smart home, a group of teens would soon realize that the building’s AI has sinister plans for them. Watch the trailer for Margaux below:
The movie follows a group of seniors dead set to celebrate their final college days partying inside a smart home. But soon, the house’s highly advanced AI system, Margaux, begins to show her true colors, eliminating the tenants one by one through her deadly high-tech tools.
Directed by Steven C. Miller, Margaux stars Madison Pettis, Vanessa Morgan, Richard Harmon, Lochlyn Munro, Jedidiah Goodacre, Phoebe Miu, Jordan Buhat, Brittany Mitchell, and Louis Lay. It is set for release on digital and on-demand this September 9.
