WATCH: Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez Fall in Love in ‘Kita Kita’

Starring Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, expect this film to be one that would give you all the laughs, feels, and kilig you need.

Sigrid Andrea Bernard’s latest film, Kita Kita (I See You) is coming to your theaters soon, and we can’t be more excited to see it (no pun intended)! Starring Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, expect this film to be one that would give you all the laughs, feels, and kilig you need.

See the trailer here:

Kita Kita tells the stories two Filipinos who are living in Hokkaido, Japan. Lea used to be a Velo taxi tour guide, until an accident caused her temporary blindness that, if not cured in a matter of weeks, could become permanent. Tonyo, who lives across the street, tries to befriend her, but Lea kept ignoring him, fearing that she might not ever see him. The two eventually become closer with each other through the bond they start to have, and Lea starts to see who Tonyo really is.

A clip of Lea and Tonyo bantering and flirting with each other over bowls of ramen was also released in March. See it here:

The film competed at the Osaka Film Festival, and was premiered last Friday, May 18 at the UP Cine Adarna.
