Directed by Patty Jenkins with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, Wonder Woman is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name and is the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe.
Last week, early reactions from film critics and enthusiasts have been released and they have only been positive. As of writing, it is the highest rated live action superhero film on Rotten Tomatoes at 95% and is the only DCEU movie, so far, getting a "fresh" rating. So you can just imagine how excited fans are! It is even said to be the best DC movie since The Dark Knight.
Being the first female-centric superhero feature directed by a woman, indeed, Warner Bros. has finally changed the superhero game. Who says we're not ready for a female superhero on the silver screen? Again, who run the world?!
The story revolves around Amazon Princess Diana who lives on a mystical island of Themyscira and meets American pilot Steve Trevor after a plane crash. He then tells her about the conflict in the outside world and leaves home for London to bring an end to all the wars, discovering her full potential and true destiny.
The film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen and Elena Anaya.
See what others have to say about the film:

WONDER WOMAN: Easily my favorite DCEU film. Has the humor and heart the franchise so desperately needs. Gadot and Pine are charming as hell.
