Spider-Man: No Way Home has now been released overseas, and while we Pinoys have yet to see it this January, Marvel Studios is already giving fans a first look at their next film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
After Peter Parker’s dilemma with Spider-Man villains from the multiverse, the Doctor Strange sequel is seemingly diving deeper into the concept “about which we know frighteningly little.” Watch the trailer below:
Aside from the team-up between Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, the trailer also teased the return of Baron Mordo who has now become an enemy of Strange after they had a falling-out in the first film. But it looks like the real big bad of Doctor Strange 2 is Doctor Strange, as the trailer unveiled an evil version of the Sorcerer Supreme which could only mean big trouble to the multiverse.
Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams. It arrives in Philippine cinemas on May 4, 2022.
