Have you always thought about how the life of famous painter Vincent van Gogh was?
Loving Vincent is a biographical animated drama film about the painter. Premiered at the 2017 Annecy International Animated Film Festival, it is the first ever fully painted animated feature film. Each of the film's 65,000 frames is an oil painting on canvas using the same technique as van Gogh and is created by a team of 115 painters.
One year after the deah of Vincent van Gogh, Postman Roulin requests that his son personally deliver the painter's troubled last letter to his brother after previous attempts to mail the item fails. When the young man arrives in the last hometown of the painter, he ends up investigating van Gogh's final days there.

Written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, it stars Douglas Booth, Jerome Flynn, Saoirse Ronan, Helen McCrory, Chris O'Dowd and more.
