The main trailer for The Batman has been released, giving us a better look at Matt Reeves’ gritty take on the characters of Gotham City, including Catwoman, the Penguin, and Batman himself played by Robert Pattinson. Check out the trailer below:
From Warner Bros. Pictures comes this latest movie adaptation of The Batman, with Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves at the helm, and a story written by Peter Craig and Reeves. It follows a younger Bruce Wayne as he dons the iconic cape and cowl to go against foes like the Riddler and the Penguin. The trailer also gave us a glimpse of an encounter between Batman and Catwoman.
Starring alongside Pattinson are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin, and Andy Serkis as Alfred to name a few.
Based on characters from DC, Batman was created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. The Batman is set to open in theaters on March 2, 2022 in select 3D and 2D and IMAX theaters and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
