From the creators of Moana and Zootopia comes Encanto, a new Disney animated film set to take viewers to the fictional place called Encanto. And just recently, Walt Disney Animation studios dropped the official trailer for the film, giving us a glimpse of the magical Madrigal family.
Watch it here:
Encanto tells the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who lives in a charmed place called an Encanto. What makes this family special is how each member of the Madrigal family has a magical gift unique to them — all except Mirabel, an ordinary 15-year-old who’s struggling to find her place in the family.
The film comes from Byron Howard (Zooptopia, Tangled) and Jared Bush (Zootopia), co-directed by Charise Castro Smith. It’s also set to feature all-new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who was the man responsible for the songs of Moana and Hamilton. Lending their voices for the film are Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Angie Cepeda, Diane Guererro, and more.
Encanto opens in US theaters on November 24.
