Top comic acts Steve Carrell and Tina Fey star in the crazy comedy “Date Night” about a couple’s romantic evening gone horribly wrong directed by Shawn Levy who directed the hits “Night at the Museum 1 and 2.”
“Date Night” follows Phil (Carell) and Claire (Fey) Fosters whose typical suburban lifestyle is totally altered one night when their usual date night becomes much more than just dinner and a movie. Trying to preserve the marital spark, they went out on a more trendy restaurant outside the city where a case of mistaken identity turns their evening into the ultimate date night-gone-awry. As they experienced their walk on the unexpected side, they begin to recount what made them tick in the first place without ever having to change their suburban routine.
The movie also stars Mark Wahlberg who plays a security expert who eventually helps the Fosters out of their mishap in the city. James Franco also makes an appearance portraying a sloppy con man and petty criminal.
“Date Night” opens very soon in theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.
