Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer To Reunite for ‘Call Me By Your Name’ Sequel ‘Find Me’

In a recent interview with Italian magazine La Repubblica, he revealed a few details on the the sequel entitled Find Me. 

In case you missed it,  Luca Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name is set to have a sequel! And in a recent interview with Italian magazine La Repubblicahe revealed a few details on the sequel entitled Find Me. 

In the interview, Guadagnino shared that Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer, who played Elio and Oliver, respectively, will be coming back for the same cast. "Everyone will be in the new movie," he said, and that includes Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel, and the other actors who you've seen in the well-loved 2017 film.

The Italian director also revealed that he was supposed to meet with a writer he loved but was pushed back because of the coronavirus outbreak. "Before coronavirus, I had a trip to the United States to meet a writer I love very much, whose name I don't want to say, to talk about the second part. Unfortunately, we had to cancel it," he said. 

Find Me, also based on a book by Andre Aciman in 2018, picks up a decade or so after the events of the first book. According to GoodReads, the story centers on Elio's father Samuel who goes on a trip from Florence to Rome to visit Elio, now a gifted classical pianist.

Call Me By Your Name, which premiered in 2017, received four nominations at the 90th Academy Awards, taking home the trophy for Best Adapted Screenplay.
