Last December, the first teaser for A Quiet Place Part II was dropped, revealing some details on what we can speculate for the upcoming sequel to the popular thriller film from John Krasinski. Now, the full trailer has finally been released and it already puts us at the edge of our seats.
Check it out below:
The first minute of the trailer shows the first day of the alien invasion, the city being in utter chaos, while the Abbott family, the protagonists from the first film, were driving frantically amidst the monster-driven mayhem.
Fast forward and we're back to the repercussions of the alien attack on the Abbott family's home. Now, having gone outside of the forest, they venture back to the city where they come across another survivor who warns: "The people that are left, they're not the kind of people worth saving."
This is the sequel to the 2018 film A Quiet Place, which introduced audiences to a world where hearing-sensitive monsters dwell at the top of the food chain. This year, it looks like that this world will be further explored and explained.
The film has Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe reprising their roles as Evelyn, Regan, and Marcus Abbott, respectively. It is directed by John Krasinski who also starred as the Abbott family's father. It is set for a March 20, 2020 release.
