Emma, one of Jane Austen's classic pieces, is getting a fresh adaptation to the big screen next year, and it's set to star Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular character! The film, which is Autumn De Wilde's debut feature, premieres in cinemas in February 2020.

A film based on Jane Austen's 1815 novel of the same name, Emma follows the clever and rich Emma Woodhouse who's in search for love and purpose as she goes through misguided relationships and romantic missteps, only to realize that the love she's been looking for has been there all along. 

Emma is directed by Autumn De Wilde, with a script by Eleanor Catton. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Johnny Flynn, Bill Nighy, Mia Goth, Miranda Hart, Josh O'Connor, Callum Turner, and more. 

Emma is set to open in US cinemas in February 2020.
