Send in the clowns!
With IT: Chapter Two now in cinemas and the Joker film soon to be released, 2019 is definitely the year for iconic clowns in the big screen. But another character clowns around in the latest teaser trailer for the 2020 film Birds of Prey.

If you hadn't seen the title, you'd actually think that you're watching the trailer for IT: Chapter Two with that all-familiar tune and red balloons floating, but then Harley Quinn appears with her mallet to pop this mistaken thought, saying she's so "over clowns."
Actress Margot Robbie is reprising her role as the Batman villain, now one of the main protagonists of the film, 4 years after her role-debut in Suicide Squad. Known as the equally-insane girlfriend of the Joker, Harley Quinn now teams up with other female DC characters like the Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya for Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn).
Alongside Robbie are stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rose Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask.
The film is directed by Cathy Yan and is set for a February 2020 release.
