We're a few days away from the official release of Makoto Shinkai's newest film Weathering With You, and if you're one who wants to see the film ahead of everyone, SM Cinema will be holding a fan screening this August 17 at the SM Megamall!
Tickets are priced at P800 and can now be booked via the SM Cinemas website. The tickets are inclusive of a Weathering With You umbrella, which is the perfect memorabilia to have in this rainy weather!
Directed by Makoto Shinkai who also directed Your Lie in April and Your Name, Weathering With You tells the story of a high school freshman Hodaka, who runs away from his island home to Tokyo, where it's gloomy and rainy every day. Pushed to his personal and financial limits, Hokoda lives in isolation, but this changes when he meets Hina, a girl with the ability to stop the rain and clear the skies, on a busy street corner.
Weathering With You opens in Philippine cinemas this August 28.
