Annabelle Comes Home

Written and directed by Gary Dauberman in his directorial debut, the film is a sequel to 2014's Annabelle and 2017's Annabelle: Creation, and as the seventh installment in the Conjuring Universe franchise. It follows a teenager and her friend who unknowingly awaken an evil spirit trapped in a doll while babysitting the daughter of Ed and Lorrain Warren. 

 

Step Up 6: Year of the Dance

Kontradiksyon

Directed by Njel de Mesa, Kontradiksyon follows Alexis Borlaza who is a human rights activist who gets framed and imprisoned for the murder of his entire family. As he tries to find justice for his family, he becomes an informant and asset to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. Unbeknown to his superiors, he doubles as a vigilante trying to solve murders and eradicate the drug problem on his own.  

 

Because I Love You

COMEDY, ROMANCE | PG | 1hr 42mins

Directed by Joel Lamangan, the film follows Summer who is a typical girl raised by a firefighter father which inspired her to follow his footsteps. She then meets Rael by chance a couple of times. Rael realizes he actually likes Summer but proving this to her is much more difficult and challenging.

 

Directed by Tomoka Nagaoka, it is the twenty-third installment of the Case Closed film series based on the manga series of the same name by Gosho Aoyama, following the 2018 film Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer. Conan travels to Singapore where he and Kaitou Kid become embroiled in a conspiracy involving a murder in Marina Bay Sands and the mysterious Blue Sapphire.

 

Beyond the Edge

ACTION, ADVENTURE, FANTASY | PG | 1hr 50mins

Directed by Aleksandr Boguslavskiy and Francesco Cinquemani, it centers on a talented gambler who gathers a team of people with supernatural powers to win big at a casino. At the game, he finds himself up against a much stronger mystical rival and ends up in a deadlock putting in danger himself and his team that he has grown to love.
