Directed by Paul Hyett, the film is set in the 17th century and follows innocent Persephone who is falsely accused and put on trial for her life. She then meets a mysterious Reverend Mother offering her not just sanctuary but hope. Upon arriving at the small religious retreat, she is plagued with visions and soon realizes that salvation doesn't await but a battle for her soul.
