Fans of the 2009 comedic zombie thriller Zombieland had been anticipating its sequel for years but now it seems that their long wait is over. Finally, the film's Twitter account dropped the very first Zombieland 2 poster but with a little touch of creativity.
The post compares the posters of the first film and its sequel on a 'Ten Year Challenge' with the four lead characters taking the similar spots for their characters. Moreover, the poster also confirms the movie's rumored title Zombieland: Double Tap.
Prepare yourselves for another fun film packed with action, humor, and zombies rolled into one as the Zombieland 2 plague is set for release in cinemas on October 11, 2019.
Starring the original lead cast: Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin, the roster is also expected to be joined by Dan Aykroyd, Rosario Dawson, and Zoey Deutch while Bill Murray is rumored to reprise his role as himself in the story of the film. The movie will also be directed by original director Ruben Fleischer while original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will be joined by Dave Callaham.
